It’s the middle of the summer, everyone is talking about heatwaves (although just some heat would be nice in the UK right now), so why should you be thinking about Christmas time?
While most people are away on their summer holidays in July and August, now is the time to get yourself along to your local kitchen expert and book in a time to get your new kitchen before 2024.
By this point of the year many kitchen companies will have already got pretty booked up – so if you’re not keen on waiting until the new year for a new kitchen, now is the time to strike.
Like many businesses, the world of kitchens sees yearly peaks and troughs. From September through to December the phone doesn’t stop ringing. January tends to start slowly as the UK creeps out of a hectic Christmas period into a sleepy new year. Then from February through to June it’s all systems go again.
Getting a new kitchen in before Christmas will give you peace of mind for the new year. It will be a much less draughty January and February than it might be if major renovation work is going on then. And, let’s face it, having a lovely, shiny, beautiful new kitchen to cook your Christmas dinner in and host your friends and family would just bring the whole year to a lovely close.
